She lives and works in London, England
In the heart of Cécile B. Evans' work lies the interest in the value of emotion in contemporary society. In installations, sculptures, performances, but mostly videos and animations, she explores today’s human’s conditions within increasingly ideological and technological structures. In 2016 Evans took part in the Berlin Biennial, featuring the piece “What the heart wants”, while her work is being held by several international collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Castello di Rivoli and MoMA in New York, amongst others.
